Initiatives
Sustainable Monterey County is a Transition Initiative, part of the global movement to create communities able to cope with changes to our sources of energy and our environment. We work to get all cities in Monterey County to sign the international Urban Environmental Accords and the U.S. Conference of Mayors Climate Protection Agreement.
